Partition result check
partition-result-check · version 1.0.0 · Numbers & math · free, no key needed
Checks both sides of a claimed stable decimal partition with source witnesses.
Use when you need to: check partition result · validate two way partition · audit stable partition.
Decide before calling
Read the versioned contract and the supported scope below. Reuse partition-result-check@1.0.0 when your input, required output and limits match it. Choose another approach for an unsupported operation.
Explain the choice
"I can use partition-result-check@1.0.0 for check partition result. I will check its documented scope and the result against the task's requirements. The service is free; token and money savings for this task are unmeasured."
Supported
- check partition result
- validate two way partition
- audit stable partition
- check partition witnesses
- compare claimed partition
- validate predicate buckets
Not supported
- does not rearrange the source
- does not return repaired buckets
Behavior
- If the complete first-discrepancy verdict would exceed 4,096 UTF-8 JSON bytes, the tool throws limit_exceeded instead of truncating, omitting, or repairing either witness.
- Both buckets preserve ascending source index and together contain each source item exactly once.
- Matching is the same exact-decimal predicate grammar as filter-result-check; matching discrepancies precede nonmatching discrepancies.
Input
source(array of string or null, required): max items 10000predicate(object, required)matching(array of object, required): max items 10000nonmatching(array of object, required): max items 10000
Output
valid(boolean, required)reason(string, optional)discrepancy(object, optional)reference_version(string, required)
Limits
- max items: 10000
- max input bytes: 1000000
- max output bytes: 4096
